College Name: Amrita University
Conference Name: International Conference on Distributed Computing and Networking
About Conference:
In ICDCN 2009, US National Science Foundation
organized the PEERS workshop for brainstorming about US-India
collaborative efforts to increase the Ph.D. production in Computer
Science and Engineering in India, as well as to motivate US domestic
undergraduate students to go for graduate studies in Computer Science
and Engineering. This effort was the first of its kind by a conference
at a time when the abysmal rate of Computer Science Ph.D. production
started hurting the Indian R & D labs and academic community. ICDCN
organizes a Ph.D. forum to encourage promising graduate students
showcase their research in the presence of a panel of internationally
acclaimed scientists, and industrial leaders. As in the past, ICDCN 2014
will be organized in two tracks: Distributed Computing and Networking,
and will comprise a highly selective technical program consisting of
refereed submitted papers, panel discussions, Ph.D forum as well as
focused workshops and tutorials on emerging and cutting-edge topics.
